Tonight the SCCSD Board of Education celebrated nine staff members nominated by peers for the Devil Dog Award.
The Devil Dog Award in the South Conway County School District is a prestigious recognition given to a team member who exemplifies the spirit of a "Devil Dog." Nominated by their peers, this individual is celebrated for their kindness, dedication to serving others, strong work ethic, commitment to excellence in all tasks, and an unwavering desire to support and uplift those around them. This morning, 9/6/24, bus 36 was involved in a minor traffic accident on Harding St. There were 26 students still on the bus. There were no major injuries. 2 students were taken to the hospital for observation. The other students were transported to their respective campuses.
The parents/guardians of the students on the bus at the time of the accident are being notified.
