🍎Breakfast and Lunch Menus for September 28-October 2 - MIS students have the option of regular lunch or yogurt boats on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or 🍕pizza on Tuesday and Thursday

District Chief Wesley O’Neal and his wife Lisa visited with our MIS GT students and showed them the numerous types of emergency life-saving equipment on the rescue fire truck. Jeanette Stewart, editor of The Log Cabin newspaper in Conway, spoke about her career as a journalist and is now leader of three publications. These family guests provided interesting and informative opportunities for the students.

We are extremely proud of the students, teachers, staff, and leadership at Morrilton Junior High School for earning multiple 2026 Outstanding Educational Performance Awards from the Office for Education Policy at the University of Arkansas!

MJHS was recognized for:
- #6 in Arkansas for Overall Growth
- #5 in the Northwest Region for Overall Growth
- #2 in Arkansas for Science Growth
- #2 in the Northwest Region for Science Growth

These awards are based on student growth on the ATLAS assessments and reflect the tremendous work taking place every day at Morrilton Junior High School.

As part of our MIS GT Family Guest Speakers program, students attended a presentation about Timber Sports, manufacturing , and timber products. Aaron Kienol, Safety Manager at Green Bay Packaging Pinterest Lumber Division, demonstrated the sawing for timber sports and talked to students about the lumber and the paper industry. It was a fun and informative event for the students. #loveservecare4people
