Mrs. Kuettle's ESOL students collaborated with Mrs. Goodnight's Spanish I students in an interdisciplinary lesson. The collaboration fostered a deeper understanding of cross-cultural connections while promoting language acquisition for both groups of students.



We are blessed to have a beautiful library at Morrilton High School. Ms. Grendell and Ms. Parks do a wonderful job of providing many different reading options as well as other creative activities to take part in.

Absenteeism in the first month of school can predict poor attendance throughout the school year. Half the students who miss 2-4 days in September go on to miss nearly a month of school.

Attention Seniors: Koontz Promise Program Interest Session

Koontz Electric is proud to partner with ACEF to host the third session of a Pre-Apprenticeship Program for River Valley High School seniors. This program covers career opportunities and identifies skills in the construction trades. Classes are held Monday evenings at Koontz University in our training facility. High school seniors who complete this training will be awarded up to a semester's worth of registered apprenticeship credit in one of ACEF's full apprenticeship programs. They will also be certified in First Aid, CPR, and OSHA 10 safety.
Each successful graduate will receive $500 in cash and $500 in tools. Twenty-five of our previous graduates have found great jobs with area employers.

A member of the Koontz team will visit our campus in the next few weeks to meet with all interested students. Students interested in attending this meeting will need to use their school-assigned email address to complete the form available at the following link by Monday, August 26th. This opportunity is open to seniors only.
