South Conway County School District will host Pre-K through 12 Parent-Teacher Conferences tomorrow, Thursday, October 15, from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

At our October 12th Board of Education meeting, we were proud to recognize **Chelsea Kienol** for earning her **Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP)** certification!

This impressive accomplishment requires **more than 700 hours of specialized training, study, and supervised practicum experience**, as well as passing a rigorous certification exam.

Chelsea's dedication to professional growth reflects her passion for helping children succeed, particularly students with dyslexia who benefit from specialized, structured literacy instruction and therapy.

Her commitment to developing her knowledge and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children she serves.

MIS families were invited to learn about the School wide Title 1 program for schools in SCCSD at the Annual Title 1 meeting facilitated by Mrs. Lora Hendrix, Associate Superintendent. Information was given regarding resources, funding and “Parents Right to Know.” #loveservecareforpeople 🐾❤️📚

The MIS PTEC recently held its first meeting and discussed events and activities planned for students, families and faculty. They have already served treats to teachers and decorated the cafeteria tables for Grandparents’ Breakfast. PTEC is an excellent support group and example of family engagement in action.
