Our book fair is all set and ready for students this week! We are so excited and have books for all ages! 📚❤️ -Tuesday morning we will be hosting our Grandparent Breakfast and Grand Book event from 7:15-8:00 in the cafeteria and library for 4th grade and Mrs. Fulmer, Mrs. Yarbrough, and Mrs. Jackson's classes in the 5th grade! -Wednesday morning we will be hosting our Grandparent Breakfast and Grand Book event for 6th grade and Mrs. Wood, Mrs. Rhoden, and Mrs. Collin's classes in the 5th grade. -Tuesday evening the book fair will be open from 4:00-6:00 after school for any parents and students to shop together! We look forward to seeing all of our guests! #loveservecareforpeople 🐾

SCCSD Families, Due to the ongoing power outage, all K–12 students in the South Conway County School District will dismiss today at 1:25 p.m. Pre-K students will dismiss at 1:55 p.m. Morrilton High School, Morrilton Junior High School, and Morrilton Intermediate School are currently without power and phone service. Based on the information we have received, power is not expected to be restored until after 3:30 p.m.

We want to make you aware of a transformer issue that supplies power to Morrilton Intermediate, Morrilton Junior High School and Morrilton High School. Entergy will need to make a repair, and we anticipate that power to both campuses may be temporarily interrupted. Our plan at this time is to make sure students are served lunch and then continue classes as normally as possible. With the cooler temperatures today, we believe we can continue instruction while closely monitoring conditions in both buildings. The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our priority. We are staying in communication with Entergy and will provide additional information as soon as we know more. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001. We honor the lives that were lost, the families who continue to carry that grief, and the courage of the first responders who ran toward danger in service of others. May we never forget the sacrifice, the bravery, and the unity our nation showed in the face of tragedy.
