MJHS Open House tonight from 2-6 pm.


Mr. Hogan and Mrs. Koch lead teachers and staff at MJHS discussing our vision and mission. Discussion of data is of great importance as we set our goals for the 23-24 school year. #yeswecan#mjhs#devilpups


Students who ride the bus will be dropped off and picked up in front of the MJHS office. This area is for bus drop off only. Devil Dog drive is the location for MJHS car drop off and pick up.


MJHS Open House tonight from 2 to 6 pm. This is a great time to meet the MJHS staff, turn in your completed paperwork, pick up student schedules, and ask questions. We cannot wait to see you all!


MJHS Car pick up and drop off is located off of Devil Dog drive. Devil Dog drive will become a one way street during the times of 7:15-8:15 & 2:45-3:45 when school is in session.


Mark your calendars for August 8th! Open House will begin at 2:00 pm and end 6:00pm. This is a great time familiarize with MJHS and prepare for the first day of school. Remember in order for students to receive their schedules paperwork must be completed and turned in.


Devil Dog Stadium gates will be locked when the wet-bulb temperatures reaches 92 degrees. These are extreme temperatures and the Astro-Turf and Track temperatures get so hot that it may cause injury.
When the wet-bulb temperature falls below 92 degrees, the gates will be unlocked.


Online Registration is open! Paper packets are now available for pick outside MJHS office in the paper machine. Students will receive their schedules at Open House after all registration information is complete.


Did you know that we have less than 4 weeks before school starts? MJHS is gearing up for a great year! Please read these important reminders about students entering 7th & 8th grade next year.


On July 11, 2023, the South Conway County School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Allen Gum to serve as the Morrilton High School Head Baseball Coach for the 2023-2024 school year. Due to unforeseen family circumstances, Coach Gum withdrew his acceptance of the Head Baseball Coach at Morrilton High School on the evening of July 12, 2023.
At a special board meeting on July 13th, the South Conway County School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Mike Lee to serve as the Morrilton High School Head Baseball Coach for the 2023-2024 school year.
Coach Lee has served as Head Baseball Coach at Salem, Head Baseball Coach at Pulaski Academy where he won the State Championship, Assistant Baseball Coach at the University of Central Arkansas, Area Director of Scouting for the Kansas City Royals Baseball Club, Assistant Baseball Coach at Harrison High School, Head Football Coach at Van Buren High School, and Athletic Director for the Bryant School District.
Coach Lee was a four-year letterman in baseball at the University of Central Arkansas.
Coach Lee will continue to serve as the South Conway County School District Director of Maintenance and Custodians along with his duties as the Head Baseball Coach.
The South Conway County School District and Morrilton High School proudly welcome Coach Mike Lee, his wife Catrena, and children Evan and Sydney Lee and Megan and Jordan Wicks.
Evan and Sydney Lee played baseball and softball at the University of Arkansas. Evan is currently a pitcher for the Washington Nationals organization.
Megan Wicks ran track at the University of Central Arkansas, and Jordan Wicks played baseball at Kansas State University. Jordan is currently a pitcher for the Chicago Cubs organization.

The South Conway County School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Allen Gum to serve as the Morrilton High School Head Baseball Coach for the 2023-2024 school year at a board meeting held on July 11, 2023.
Morrilton High School is excited to welcome Coach Allen Gum and his family: wife Sheena and sons Tyler and Calloway.
Coach Gum has served previously as Head Baseball Coach at Batesville High School, South Arkansas University, and the University of Central Arkansas.
Coach Gum’s overall head baseball coaching career record is 536-336. He was awarded the 2006 and 2009 Gulf South Conference Coach of Year honor.
Coach Gum had a decorated playing career at Crowder Junior College, where he is a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame, and Southern Arkansas University, where he received the Charles Berry Hustle Award at the NAIA World Series.
